Delete your Camigo account

Last updated: September 14, 2026

This page is for users of Camigo, the pilgrimage trip app published by Fuzati LLC for iOS and Android. You can request deletion of your account and your data at any time, whether or not you still have the app installed.

Option 1: Delete in the app

On iOS or Android, open Camigo and go to Profile → Delete Account, then type DELETE to confirm. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

Option 2: Request deletion without the app

If you no longer have the app installed, email [email protected] from the email address on your account with the subject line “Camigo account deletion request.” Let us know your account email and, if you can, the name of your trip.

Email us to request deletion

We verify that a deletion request comes from the account owner before acting on it. We complete deletion within 30 days of a verified request and confirm by email once it is done.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account is immediate and permanent for:

  • Your account, profile, and sign-in credentials.
  • Your pilgrim profile details (passport, emergency contact, dietary and medical notes, rooming preferences, and similar registration information).
  • Your chat messages, photos, photo tags, and reactions. Photo files themselves are removed from storage, not just their database record — including any GPS location stored in their EXIF metadata.
  • Your journal entries and prayer intentions.
  • Registered push notification tokens for your devices (Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging).
  • Your trip registration and participation records, including any payment method or payment-plan references stored in the app.
  • If you lead a group: your trip group page (its name, slug, parish or diocese, custom message, leader photo, and free-trip threshold) is deleted along with your account. Pilgrims who registered under that group keep their own registration, just no longer linked to a group.
  • A few smaller records tied only to your account — chat read receipts, photo favorites, photo reports you filed, and push-registration event logs — are deleted as well.

What is preserved or retained, and why

  • Shared trip content you organized: if you created content as a trip leader or operator — such as itineraries, announcements, chat channels, or resources — that content, and any files attached to it (such as a resource document), stays in place for the rest of your trip group so the trip record isn’t broken for other pilgrims. It is no longer linked to your account: it appears as posted by “Former member” instead of your name.
  • Payment records: our payment processor (Stripe) and, where applicable, your trip operator retain transaction records as required by accounting and tax law, consistent with our Privacy Policy (retained for 7 years).
  • Server logs: standard request logs are retained for up to 30 days for debugging and abuse prevention, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Anything else we are legally required to keep is retained only for as long as the law requires, and for no other purpose.
